🧑‍🔬 Research Assistent @ UPB

(Apr 2025 - Present)

Researcher in the SIGMA Lab and SAI Lab, where I work towards the development of novel methods, inspired by signal processing, for controlling the generative processes of Deep Learning models. My main focus is on the image and audio generation, but I am also interested in the multimodal and information retrieval applications. Among these interests, I am also involved in researching new modules that can be used for high-quality spatial audio generation.

🧑‍🏫 Teaching Assistent @ ETTI

Working as a teaching assistant in the DCAE department, where I am involved in the development of the Microprocessor Architecture courses. In the laboratory sessions, I teach students how to implement and test their own solutions in Assembly. Outside of teaching, I also coordinate some of the student’s bachelor theses, helping them to develop their own projects in the field of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

Worked in the audio department, where I developed software solutions which integrate concepts from Digital Signal Processing (DSP) alongside Artificial Inteligence (AI). My main tasks consisted of researching, adapting, training and integrating the lastes technologies in domains such as Source Separation (SS), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Denoising and Audio Synthesis.
